Villa Hurlebise
The White Residence, but especially the Ville Hurlebise are important landmarks at the beginning of the shopping streets of Nieuwpoort-Bad. It is one of the few buildings that are still remaining from the first developments of the bathing resort.
Several ornaments refer to the Art Nouveau of the beginning of the 20th. century, such as the curled socle and the petrified plants, above which the inscription "Hurlebise" can be found. This form is modeled after the shape of a ship's bow with a typical bowsprit.
