Key and Lock museum
Since 2000, the vzw Opslot shows a remarkable and almost unique collection of historical and contemporary locks in a lovingly restored factory building.
The collection consists of objects from before the Roman period till now. Highlights of the collection are the masterpieces from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period; real samples of art and craftsmanship.
Moreover, there are also locks from Asia and Africa included in this collection; a special part is dedicated to the lock industry of West Flanders from the recent 20th century.
