Children's farm
The fact of bringing children in contact again with life on a farm and the discovery and making of products, they only know from the shop, as well as giving them a chance to look at and to touch living animals is the assignment of the children's farm 'De Lenspolder'; they attempt to realize this throughout the 4 seasons. The farm has a yard with scratching poultry, rabbits, a pond with different sorts of ducks and turtles, a meadow with goats, sheep, pigs, little horses and other hoofed animals. Moreover, 'De Lenspolder' organizes in the 2 bio-rooms not less than 67 educative activities from 'baking bread' to 'the self-production of paper' and 'the environmental control'.
Relaxation can be found in the cafeteria or on the small playground. This is a special recommendation for school and youth groups.
