National Homage to H.M. King Albert 1st and the Heroes of the Yser

Sunday August 7th, 2011

Every year, on the first Sunday in August: the National Homage to H.R.H. King Albert I and the heroes of the IJzer takes place near the Memorial to King Albert Ist.
The ceremony starts at 10 a.m. with a flag parade. Afterwards there is a oecumenical service and impressive floral tribute.

Around 12 a.m., there are successively flower tributes at the Britisch Memorial, the French Memorial and the Ysermemorial.
